The Christ Prep Patriots set a new team record Tuesday with an overall score of 304 strokes at the Blue Ridge Christian School "Warrior Invitational." CPA placed first among the 7-team field at the event, played at the par 70 Royal Meadows G.C. in Raytown, Mo. Christ Prep's record setting score was some 60+ strokes better than second place Eagle Heights.Christ Prep nearly swept individual honors as well. Joey Johnson once again was overall medalist, shooting a 1-under par 69. Logan Routh's 76 was good enough for second place while Timothy Finley claimed third with a 79. Nolan Becerra's 80 placed him in 5th.
The Patriots return to action Monday, April 9 when they travel to Lakewood Oaks C.C. in Lee's Summit, Mo. for the Blue Springs South Invitational.
